• The King Edward VII Hospital for Officers in London was established in 1899 and has long been the first port of call for sick members of the Royal Family. Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh was the latest in a long line of Royal Family members to go to the exclusive cliniic when he was admitted for three days with a chest infection in April 2008.
